Research Interests I am broadly interested in communities of animal reservoirs for human disease and how perturbations to those communities via anthropogenic factors and vector interactions affect risk of zoonotic spillover. The ability to conduct fieldwork in resource-limited regions, utilize various lab techniques to generate data, and then use that data to inform mathematical models makes me uniquely qualified to address issues in emerging infections and ecological dynamics. |
